I got my thesis statement all wrong! It should contained debatable substance. Instead, I just put all description inside of it. Okay, I know most of the facts and situation about tourism, that I am too high-spirited to tell that in my essay. Alright, I will fix it. The thesis statement will be about development programs and things that need more attention from government, such as community development and natural preservation.

Let’s recall what happened this week:
- Barbara teach us! I volunteered myself to demonstrate how to shake hands in australia way. Overall, I like the way of she explains something. It goes fluently, funny, and exciting. Then again, this week is full of how-to-live-in-Australia-for-noobs.
- Including what’s happened of thursday, which made me to rethink again to take development practice instead of tourism. But then again, I assure myself that this is a right path. When you start to doubt yourself, remember when you start it.
- Richard’s lesson: Review IELTS test. I need to redo my speaking test, as well my writing test.
- He also introduce us to toastmasterinternational, meetup.com and conversation.com
- We learn to use particle a/an and the, and how to pronounce -ed in funny way.
- Differences between coherence and cohesion.
- We’re doin presentation for our essay, and here’s my feedbacks:
- Double coherences
- Too much ‘that’ in a complex sentences
- Work on particular verbs
- Put “s” at the end of verbs
There are six steps how to writing:
- Understand the question types
- Plan, make a mind map
- Make intro: restate the question, what is essay about, answer the question
- State main points (Don’t annoy the reader, one paragraph one idea).
- Conclusion
- Proofreading
Listening tips:
- Listen carefully
- Predict the synonym
- Skim as much as possible
- Remember “s” for countable noun
Reading tips:
- Pay attention to instruction “one word only”
- s at countable noun
- small letters/capital letters
My speaking feedback:
- I am able to keep going on answer but rush
- Rushing leads to unnecessary errors
- Slow down, I am out of breathe
- I am gabbling a bit. Calm down! Compare the speed he speak out with the sepeed of I speak at. This is reducing the communicative effect.
